Cortaly is a member-run traffic exchange: people add their own site to a shared rotation and earn credits by genuinely viewing each other's sites, then spend those credits to bid for placement of their own. There's no third-party ad inventory and no bot traffic bought in bulk — every visit comes from a real member's browser, timed and verified server-side.

How placement works

Every site owner sets two numbers: how long a visit lasts (in 15-second steps) and how many credits they bid per 15 seconds. Among sites competing for the same viewer, the highest bid wins and is shown — a straightforward auction, not a random draw or a paid placement outside it. The full bid is debited from the owner's personal credit balance on every visit, live — a site simply stops showing the moment that balance runs out, and resumes automatically once it doesn't.

Bidding starts at 1 credit per 15 seconds, and credits are earned by surfing or purchased directly — there's no minimum spend and no contract.

Targeting

Every site owner can restrict who sees their site — by country, by browser, by operating system, and by how often the same visitor sees it again. None of these are required; left unset, a site is simply shown worldwide, on any device, as often as its bid keeps winning.

Why the traffic is real

A visit only counts once the full viewing time has genuinely elapsed, the browser tab stayed active and sent regular heartbeats throughout, and an automated check found no sign of a scripted or automated environment. See the FAQ for the full mechanics.
